2017 Lecture Series – Educating the differently able

This year, the Barbados Museum & Historical Society has partnered once again with the University of the West Indies-Cave Hill and the National Cultural Foundation to present this year’s series. The series will be held under the theme “Without an education in your head…you are better off dead”: The Evolution of the Educational System in Barbados: Challenges and Opportunities.


The third lecture in the series will take place on Tuesday, 28 March 2017 at 7:15 p.m, the night’s lecture will be a panel discussion featuring Wilmont Straughan and Dr Junie Lynch delivered by Professor The panel discussion is entitled ‘Educating the differently able: challenges, impact and prospects.’
